ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensures area is clean, fish tanks are full and free of sleeper
- Ensures all products are properly signed and all product is rotated correctly
- Certifies products received throughout the day
- Washes all dishes and utensils thoroughly
- Other duties as assigned by management
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
- Experience working in a meat and/or seafood department, a plus
- Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in seafood departments.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Detail oriented
- Read and write English/Spanish
- Follow instructions,
- Comfortable using knives safely and efficiently
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
