Brand Strategist

How You Will Help Our Clients Mean More

We’re looking for a Strategist with an insatiable curiosity about all things culture and human behavior to:

1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to understand market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes within the food, agriculture, and health sectors and translate insights into actionable strategies.
2. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the food, agriculture, and health industries, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
3. Develop creative briefs based on client objectives and collaborate with other agency teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
4. Analyze campaign performance learnings to guide decision-making and refine strategies.
5. Artfully present strategies and recommendations to clients.
6. Support new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills, Education and Experience Required for This Role

1. 3-5 years of experience in brand strategy, preferably within an advertising agency or related industry.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
3. Experience working in public health or healthcare or at an advertising agency serving clients in those categories is highly desirable.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
5. Deeply embedded into culture with a curiosity for human behavior
6. Excellent verbal (presentation) and written communication skills.
7. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Must be a self-starter: quick learner, intuitive and proactive.

Where You Will Work

This position can be virtual. We prefer candidates in the Midwest but are open to other US locations (only) for highly qualified candidates. We will not provide sponsorship. We require travel 6-8 times a year.
