- Shift: Day 5x7.5-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)
- Work location: Onsite, Santa Barbara, CA
- Compensation: $65 to $71 per hour
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and mental health conditions.
- Assess patients' abilities and challenges in performing daily tasks like self-care, work, and leisure activities.
- Design individualized treatment programs based on patients' specific needs, goals, and limitations.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and healthcare teams to create realistic and achievable rehabilitation plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and tasks that help patients regain or improve their motor skills, coordination, and strength.
- Use adaptive techniques and equipment (e.g., splints, wheelchairs, or prosthetics) to enhance patients' functionality and independence.
- Teach patients and caregivers techniques to manage their conditions and perform everyday tasks more easily.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as biology, psychology, or health sciences.
- Participate in supervised clinical fieldwork as part of your occupational therapy program. This hands-on experience is essential for developing practical skills in a real-world healthcare setting.
- Must hold WA OT license and ESA cert
