MGC Roofing & Construction, a leading national roofing contractor, is currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at our Miami-Fort Lauderdale, FL office. This is a hybrid position, allowing for remote work with a home base in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area .
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounts payable, payroll, HR, accounts receivable, and job cost processes and analysis
- Expertise in month-end closing procedures with strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting analysis
- Experience in a construction/roofing accounting environment is essential.
- Expertise with construction accounting software.
- Ability to interact and work with both the office and field team.
- Ability, and willingness, to grow with the company and the accounting team.

Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance is required.
