The Executive Assistant will provide a variety of high-level administrative support to the Vice President. This position will need to prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, and follow through on strict project deadlines to successful completion. This job is for a natural go-getter who is resourceful, thinks independently, anticipates the needs of others, and operates with little direct supervision.

Compensation
The salary range for the Executive Assistant in Yuba City, CA is $66,560 to $72,000 annually.
The above salary range represents MGE Underground, Inc.’s competitive compensation at the time of this job post. Pay within this range will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, skills/abilities, and applicable knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the VP’s active calendar, and schedule appointments/meetings.
- Compose and prepare correspondence that is sometimes confidential in nature.
- Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks including supply orders, drafting letters, invoices, reports, and other documents for staff members.
- Lend support to other offices as needed.
- Schedule and attend meetings on behalf of the VP taking notes and recording minutes.
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues, concerns, and communications on behalf of the VP, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the VP’s office and internal departments; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.
- Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manage a variety of special projects for the VP, some of which may have organizational impact.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in multiple calendar platforms including Google Calendar and Outlook.
- A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery and reprioritize based on evolving business needs.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills with ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
- Proven collaborator who can interface with multiple teams to reach a goal.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to flex and adapt with ever-changing priorities.
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking skills to work through challenges and/or scheduling conflicts and identify the best solution.

- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in a progressively responsible administrative role. 3 years providing support at senior leadership level preferred.
