Job Summary: Reporting to the Director, Data Enrichment, the Data Quality Analyst is on a team of Item Stewards who ensure the data around our items is accurate, specifically targeting some of our more complex attributes. This role will design, develop and execute processes to build and govern complex data elements from various data sources both internal and external to McKesson, focused on item attribute details including concepts such as Hazmat coding, Tax coding, Atomic Unit of Measure and others. Specific Responsibilities Analyzes Item data risks & opportunities for improving accuracy and enrichment of the data.  Designs, develop, and publish automated processes enabling data to be available for various stakeholders of the Master Data Management organization. Develops and maintains internal and external networks to support knowledge gathering and sustainable sharing of best practices in item data usage and governance across the organization. Acts as primary point of contact for Item attributes owned by the team, including any reporting and improvements; works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders. Improves Master Data internal data sources by monitoring and evaluating new competitive sources of information. Identifies and reviews opportunities for continuous improvement; makes recommendations and implements solutions. Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of relevant experience as a business analyst or similar role, preferably in the healthcare sector. Critical Skills: Understanding of business analysis, project management or problem solving. Advanced knowledge of the MS Office products (Excel, Power BI (a plus), PowerPoint, Word). Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Capable of learning new software quickly. Creative and open to innovative analytic approaches. Additional Knowledge & Skills: Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Snowflake a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience analyzing and governing an organization’s data attributes as a Steward or SME.
