THE JOB:
As a Brand/Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring campaigns market the brand for MGMRI. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Update, maintain, and optimize property communication channels to ensure accurate and relevant information - website, in-room TVs, digital displays, kiosks, etc.
Assist Marketing Manager in executing property strategic initiatives
Assist Marketing Manager in driving occupancy and incremental revenue through partnership with Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Retail, Entertainment, and other property departments
Assist with scheduling photo/video shoots and maintain digital asset library
Proofread all marketing and advertising materials
Prioritize workloads to ensure projects are completed on time and to brand standards
Perform administrative tasks including invoice processing, purchase requisitions, etc.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Two (2) years of experience in marketing
Able to work various shifts, to include weekends and holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing
Experience within a Marketing division
Experience working in a similar resort setting
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Ability to communicate effectively, concisely, and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality
Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Must be proactive and able to accomplish work objectives in the absence of the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing
Extreme attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Ability to take ownership and initiative and work independently
