PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Compliance Analyst will help establish and maintain MGM Resorts International’s internal controls framework, liaison with the Mississippi Gaming Commission, coordinate responsible gaming efforts, and ensure the Gold Strike’s overall compliance with any gaming license or regulatory requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform walkthroughs of end to end business processes and internal controls with owners. Make recommendations on internal controls and process improvements to control owners. Assist in implementation of internal control improvements, including process changes and system implementations.
- Collaborate with departmental personnel on the design, implementation and evaluation of business process controls.
- Maintain, recommend enhancements and update the process narratives/flowcharts; and help control owners in ensuring appropriate
/sufficient evidence of controls is maintained.
- Perform testing of controls by means of reperformance, observation and inspection. Form initial conclusions on controls design and operating effectiveness.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
PREFERRED:
- At least two (2) year's experience in regulated casino gaming, preferably compliance, finance, internal audit, surveillance, or consulting.
