PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Retail In-Play Trader position requires a candidate who is motivated, experienced in wagering, and performs at the highest standard in the gambling industry. This position will be able to trade the vast In-Play sports wagering product within all BetMGM Sportsbooks across the USA.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continually monitors live trends and game situations with a view to ensuring the quality and accuracy of the generated data
- Continually monitor world-wide markets on events currently being traded for comparison and evaluation
- Make informed decisions pertaining to the trading of the live game data
- Ensure daily schedules and operations are adhered to as per management's expectations
- Trade In-Play events for BetMGM retail
- Reports to the In-Play Supervisors and Senior Traders
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED:
- Comprehensive knowledge of American sports and associated rules.
- Passion for Sports data and statistics.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Basic understanding of sports betting
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Gaming Registration in applicable jurisdiction(s)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong computer skills; comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Quick and informed decision making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to take initiative.
- Flexible and committed to excellence.
