The Chiropractor works with patients to assess their physical condition, identify health concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans using various diagnostic tests, such as x-rays or ultrasounds, to understand the patient’s condition better. Employs holistic approaches such as spinal manipulation, adjustments, and therapeutic techniques to address musculoskeletal conditions.

The following qualifications are required:
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
- Valid Chiropractic license from State of Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals certification (must be completed prior to orientation start date)
- First Aid certification (may be completed with MHC upon hire)
- Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Physiotherapy or Acupuncture certification (NBCE)
- Experience with community health centers (FQHC)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments.
- Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health.
- Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests.
- A commitment to providing the best possible patient care.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office applications and specialized practice/billing software.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills with emphasis on responsiveness, building trust, mutual respect, and courtesy.
- Demonstrates cultural competence and commitment to supporting and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through work performance and professional interactions.
- Supports the clinical operations of MHC Healthcare.
- Obtains/reviews patients’ health histories and performs pertinent neuromuscular physical exam for proper diagnosis.
- Follows a shared-decision making approach to develop and execute the treatment plan.
- Creates a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing.
- Will administer holistic treatments within the scope of practice, , to alleviate pain and improve the function of the musculoskeletal system. These may include spinal manipulation, adjustments, massage, and other therapeutic techniques.
- Using tests, such as x-rays or ultrasounds, to better understand a patient’s condition.
- Builds referral relationships with other healthcare professionals and makes referrals to other doctors or specialists as needed.
- Educates patients to improve their lifestyle, including nutrition, exercise plans, and stretches.
- Maintains timely, detailed, and accurate records of patient information, conditions, and treatment plans.
- Collaborates with the billing office to ensure compliance with coding and billing practices and regulations.
- Attends conferences and workshops to stay current with development in Chiropractic care.
