What are the responsibilities and job description for the Right of way agent position at Mi-Tech?
Mi-Tech offers a broad range of professional, engineering and technical services to the telecommunications and power delivery markets.
We have a current opening for a Right of Way Agent. At Mi-Tech, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include : Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution Services, Utility Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct fair market value appraisal review and understanding
- Easement document preparation using basic legal description of property
- Facilitate negotiations to acquire easements within customer parameters
- Settle damages for properties
- Courthouse research for existing easements, deeds, and survey information
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of right-of-way experience working in all aspects of the field preferred.
- Negotiation, courthouse research, and real estate principle knowledge required.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
- Flexible work hours will be required.
- Must have the ability to obtain a public notary.
