What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Clerk position at Miami Jewish Health?

- Responsible for maintaining Nursing supply inventory and replenishing as necessary
- Distributes medical supplies to nursing stations per established department procedures
- Assists receiving and central stores
- Assists with the completion of office supply requisitions
- Assists with campus-wide deliveries
- Participates in department meetings and in-services as necessary
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Two years’ experience in warehouse work, heavy lifting
Licenses/Certifications:
- N/A
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with pallet jack, hand cart
Environment Work Conditions:
- Exposure to environmental temperature changes
- Exposure to non-weather-related humid conditions where humidity is sufficiently high to cause bodily discomfort
- Involves walking long distances, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Work requires frequent lifting of 10 to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of objects not to exceed 50 pounds
