The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for harnessing the power of technology that supports the corporate strategy by serving the entities growth objectives, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the organization's competitive advantage in the marketplace.
This includes collecting, processing, analyzing, cleaning, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making within the organization. This role involves working with large datasets, using statistical methods, data visualization tools, and domain knowledge to extract meaningful information and help drive business success.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related disciplines.
- 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or open-source alternatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and hypothesis testing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Coachable. Must be willing to learn the complexities of the business.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve data analysis methods and processes.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data validation checks and quality assurance processes.
- Identify and rectify data inconsistencies or errors.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Assist in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking relevant metrics.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports based on data analysis for various departments and stakeholders.
- Summarize complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights.
- Create clear and effective data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (matplotlib, seaborn) to visualize data.
- Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to discover insights and generate hypotheses.
- Conduct A/B testing or other experiments to assess the impact of changes.
- Gather data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and external sources.
- Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop scripts or programs to automate data collection and processing tasks.
- Continuously improve data analysis methods and processes.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, such as executives, department managers, and business units, to understand technology needs and provide solutions that support their objectives.
- Developing “user friendly” information ecosystem and ensuring the organization is continuously supported and trained on how to maximize available resources.
- Reporting: Assist key stakeholders to provide essential reporting.
- Execute “Special Projects” as directed by the Director of Business Development.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
