Job Description
- Promote growth and development of client relationships
- Attend client meetings throughout the preconstruction process
- Monitor and review potential opportunities
- Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates as well as detailed estimates
- Review documents
- Prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors
- Take part in preconstrucion meetings and presentations with owners
- Research market trends and compile historical data for future use
- Prepare discipline estimates by calculating takeoffs
- Participate and lead preconstruction team
- Assist in preparation of preliminary construction
- Visit on-going projects to verify status of estimates

The Successful Applicant
- Over 5 years of preconstruction and estimating experience with a general contractor
- B.S. in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, On Screen Takeoff
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organization skills and strong attention to detail
- OSHA certification is strongly preferred
