Job Description
- Dive deep into logistics data to unearth trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to validate the viability of proposed logistics solutions and cost-saving measures.
- Keep a pulse on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of logistics endeavors and drive continuous improvement.
- Craft compelling reports and data visualizations, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Compile detailed monthly analyses on freight and warehousing expenditures.
- Navigate and utilize third-party databases for meticulous tracking and data harvesting.
- Champion the adoption and execution of continuous improvement projects and process optimization strategies.
- Tackle ad-hoc analyses and undertake special projects as directed by the logistics leadership, contributing to the strategic goals of the team.
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- A solid foundation in technical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of interpreting complex data to derive meaningful conclusions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with a strong command of data analysis tools and functions.
- A basic (or better) understanding of transportation and warehousing operations, with bonus points for knowledge of global shipping processes.
