Job Description
- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve operational issues, and drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational performance, making data-driven decisions to achieve targets.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among employees, promoting a positive work environment and adherence to best practices.
- Manage inventory levels, procurement processes, and supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6 - 8 years of experience in operations management or related role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the battery industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- 120k-150k Salary Range
