Job Description
Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve operational issues, and drive innovation.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational performance, making data-driven decisions to achieve targets.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among employees, promoting a positive work environment and adherence to best practices.
Manage inventory levels, procurement processes, and supplier relationships to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
6 - 8 years of experience in operations management or related role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the battery industry.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence initiatives.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
