- Specializing in commercial construction, civil construction and aquatics throughout the Houston and greater Houston area.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and other workers in the same project
- Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
- Responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Report project progress and budget to client
- Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in construction project management
- Ability to lead a team by being a good and effective communicator
- Excellence in building rapport and creating a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together
- Ability to efficiently manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation
- Experienced in management of multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Capable of supporting superintendents to ensure accurate completion of project scope, project budget, and contractual requirements
- Excellence in developing project specific budgets and schedules
- Competent with interpreting blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, contract requirements, etc.
- Excellence in the budgeting of financial resources
- Experience processing or coordinating construction submittals, RFIs, and change orders with both clients and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Projects, etc.)
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to travel to jobsites in state
- $95,000 Base Salary - $120,000 Base Salary
