In particular, our client manufactures photometers, luminance targets, integrating spheres, laboratory power supplies, and luminance standards, catering to Aerospace, Ground Vehicle and Shipboard lighting applications.
Job Description
The Project Manager ensures that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). He/she ensures the project is effectively resourced and manages relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors). In addition, you will perform technical and administrative engineering tasks to secure and sustain qualification in support of company objectives to provide continued leadership in aviation, marine and ground vehicle lighting.
- Oversee phase review process for the Lighting business unit.
- Oversee qualification testing process for aviation, marine and ground vehicle lighting applications.
- Review / Generate qualification documents (QTP, QTR, ATP, TRR, etc.)
- Support sales department as needed for new or/and existing products.
- Direct meetings and technical presentations.
- Interface with company technicians, and outside vendors/suppliers to develop product design specifications and optimize production processes
- Planning the overall project and monitoring the progress;
- Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
- Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;

The Successful Applicant
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Software Knowledge Requirements
- CAD: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Project
Knowledge Requirements:
- Good knowledge and handling of project management methodology and techniques;
- Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program;
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;
