Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to the exam room
- Provide and coordinate efficient patient care while documenting the patient’s medical history and any other pertinent information related to their visit.
- Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care. Attention to detail is a must.
- Some areas of the practice require the ability to give injections, perform PFTs, provide basic patient education, and triage patient calls under the direction of the provider.
- Sterilize and maintain exam rooms and instruments
- Assist physician with procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, personable demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- A minimum experience of one year experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
- Medical assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
