What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Mick's All American Pub?
SERVER
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: TO DELVER FOOD AND BEVERAGE TO CUSTOMERS IN A FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT MANNER. TO MAINTAIN A CLEAN UNIFORM, PROPER HYGENE AND A WELL-KEPT APPEARANCE.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SERVERS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP CERTAIN FOOD ITEMS PREPPED. SERVERS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP RESTAURANT CLEAN. THESE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE CALLED "SIDE WORK". SIDE WORK IS MANDATORY. THESE JOBS ARE NECASSARY TO KEEP THE RESTAURANT RUNNING SMOOTHLY AND GIVE THE CUSTOMERS THE EXPERIENCE WE WANT THEM TO HAVE.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
SERVERS ARE THE FINAL STEP BEFORE CUSTOMERS RECEIVE OUR PRODUCTS. THIS PUTS THE MOST RESPONSIBILTY ON THEM TO ENSURE THE CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION. MISTAKES WILL BE MADE BY BARTENDERS AND COOKS. IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE SERVERS RESPONSIBILTY TO CATCH THOSE ERRORS. YOU ARE THE "CONTACT PERSON" WITH THE CUSTOMER AND MUST BE THE MOST CONCERNED WITH HIS OR HER SATISFACTION.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
SERVERS MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY A TRAY WITH 20 POUNDS OF PRODUCT. SERVERS MUST BE OF A FRIENDLY AND OUTGOING DISPOSITION. SERVERS MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK AND PRIORITIZE DUTIES. SERVING IS FAST-PACED AND THOSE WITHOUT A SENSE OF URGENCY CONCERNING SERVING CUSTOMERS, WILL NOT REMAIN EMPLOYEED. MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND SPEAK ENGLISH.
