A Manager is capable of delegating and leading others effectively. A Manager is able to use aces in their places. Managers are able to mitigate and de-escalate customer or employee disputes. A Manager can successfully execute a shift and ensure profitability and efficiency in the daily operation of the business.


Activities & Responsibilities:


Primary:

Managers operate directly under Ownership and perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting restaurant standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Key holder with responsibility to open and lock the restaurant and supervises opening and closing
  • Onboard New Hires
  • Responsible for Team Leader Training
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
  • Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
  • Control inventories of food, equipment, small-ware, and liquor, and report shortages to Manager.
  • Submit truck orders
  • Complete disciplinary write-ups
  • Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs. Report needed repairs to Ownership.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
  • Adjust labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and work sta6ons to employees in accordance with work requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned
