- Work with manufacturing and suppliers to assure design objectives are met
- Assists sales and subsidiary offices with technical information to support all product lines
- Work with other Product Development, engineering & sales personnel to learn what is needed / required for the new products and or improve existing products for optimum design, wear, efficiency, and ease of maintenance characteristics
- Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure a technically accurate and timely completion of new product designs and existing design improvements
- Work with suppliers and internal manufacturing to provide technical support concerning new and modified product component designs
- Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
- Performs necessary engineering research, calculations, etc
- to publish technical data that supports the product line
- Possible visits to customers sites either with sales or on behalf of sales to provide product support or trouble shooting functions
- Assists in the writing of product IOM manuals “how to” Engineering procedures as well as other Engineering documents
- Manage multiple projects at the same time

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering and five years related experience and/or training
