WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a HR professional to join our team. You must have a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn about satellite technology and become an integral part in supporting all our teams.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of recruiting, on boarding, and benefits administration. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.
Responsibilities
- Administer health benefits and 401K program
- Recommend and Implement training and development plans
- Assist managers as needed with performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Conduct new employee on boarding including background screening
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Work with managers to determine hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
- Administer company handbook.
Skills
- Proven work experience in the HR field
- Experience with ADP or other HR/payroll software
- Familiarity with recruiting and developing job descriptions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Team management skills
- Degree in relevant field'
