As a Sr. Manager of Yield Enhancement team at Micron, you will build, develop, and manage an elite team of yield analysis and failure analysis engineers to improve yield and drive manufacturing capability for the newest Memory Fab in the United States!
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Publish pareto to provide direction and priorities of process improvement actions needed for probe yield optimization and product qualification
- Work with TD YE, HVM YE counterparts and Global Engineering Teams to identify and use global best-known methods.
- Collaborate with global YE team to develop new techniques and identify creative and innovative ways to use existing analysis tools in order to identify relevant process issues.
- Develop the strategic vision for your department and allocating resources (capital, time, team members) as need to accomplish that vision.
- Conduct performance management by creating individual performance targets that have line of sight to department goal and tracking leading indicators
- Finish the required safety training and ensuring work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a positive work environment
- Encourage collaborative efforts to solve problems, improve efficiency, and increase quality.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills with effective organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Proven record of leading multi-functional teams to successful resolution of complex engineering problems as well as difficult personnel issues
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example in demonstrating Micron values and leadership competencies
- Consistent record to lead successful projects while mentoring, coaching, and effectively developing the teams' of engineers and technicians
- Good knowledge of DRAM processes, device physics, CMOS operation and device performance
- Familiar with failure analysis, and proficient with data analysis and statistical techniques
Experience:
Demonstrated ability as a Principal Engineer Lead, MTS, Manager (M1) or Sr. Manager role with at least 3 years-experience in semiconductor.
Education:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related field.
