The IT Project Manager position position is a hybrid role based out of our Boise, ID office. This position is a part of our Career Reentry Program, Women Elevated.
Women Elevated, is an empowering career reentry program at Micron that seeks to reignite the professional journey of women. Are you ready for a new Challenge? We are looking for an IT Project Manager at Micron Technology, who will be responsible for driving medium projects with minimal assistance toward successful delivery. You will successfully lead, monitor, and control the project through all phases from initiation, planning, execution, and closure by delivering on time and within budget. You will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects and demonstrate various levels of tactical planning including identifying project requirements and establishing clear and achievable objectives. Responsibilities and Tasks
During Project Initiation you will collaborate with the solution leads and the delivery program managers to understand the business proposal and the need for the project to articulate how the project impacts the strategic portfolio roadmap. You will work with the project leaders to identify cross dependencies with other domains and work on identifying project collaborators and crafting the project charter establishing project structures like the RACI matrix and following PMO guidelines and good professional practices. You will also define scope, and timelines and understand risks, impacts, and resource analysis.
During Project Planning you will partner with the solution manager and define the executive sponsor, core team, and project teams. You will drive project kick-offs engaging with the product and delivery team in the blueprinting sessions and ensuring requirements are captured. You will schedule and facilitate required meetings and draft the communications plans for the project. Partnering with the project team you will identify the testing strategy and ensure the project budget is appropriately managed. You will build the project plan, communications plan, release plan, etc, and schedule and drive relevant discussions with executive leadership.
