The role
As a project manager for customer engagements, you will have oversight of multiple projects for installations of Micropsi’s software, MIRAI – a groundbreaking, AI-powered control system for industrial robots. Customer installations of MIRAI are part of industrial automation cells, thus prior exposure to manufacturing and operational environments is key. You’ll work closely across a cross-functional internal team that includes Sales and Automation Engineers, and directly work with customer contacts to prepare for, execute on, and close out installations.
As part of a broader customer-facing team, you will also have the opportunity to build out and improve our ways of working, which can include developing and tracking KPIs and internal reporting, in addition to customer-facing project management methods. We’re looking for organized, self-starters who are excited about new technologies and helping our customers improve their operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, including resource needs, timelines, and activities, for manufacturing shop floor deployments and Proof of Concept projects
- Actively manage projects, timelines, and stakeholders, to deliver successful installations that meet customer success criteria
- Communicate project expectations, updates, and other relevant information both internally and externally
- Standardize and continuously improve project management processes and delivery approach
- Work across all relevant function of the business, including Automation Engineering, Sales, and Product Managemen
- B.S. in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- 5 years in project or program management, management consulting or other client-facing role, preferably in operational or technical industries
- Experience on manufacturing shop floors
- Analytical, data driven thinking and problem solving
- Adaptability for the fast paced, changing environment of a software start-up operating in highly technical customer environments
- Verbal and written communication skills, that adapt to effectively communciate across levels at a customer, from engineers and facilities managers to CTOs
- Willing to travel - approximately 30%
- Experience with automation layers, PLCs, and/or industrial robots
- Experience with network engineering
- Experience with project management software
