Job Summary:
As a part of the Operations Team, the Production Planner plays a key role in organizing production in accordance to demand and quality standards. The Production Planner will be the one to ensure the Company’s goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.
An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role.
The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of the Company’s production operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinates production workflow for one or multiple products
Plans and prioritizes operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Monitors jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Addresses issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtains output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.)
Prepares and submits status and performance reports
Keeps paperwork organized
Collaborates with engineers, manufacturing, quality, and other staff
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience required OR Bachelor of Science Degree in Project Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
Prior experience with project and/or operations management preferred, but not required.
Prior experience using ERP Software preferred, but not required.
Prior experience using Microsoft Project preferred, but not required.
Other Requirements:
This is an on-site position. Must be available to work at the 900 Mount Laurel Circle, Shirley, MA location.
Must be a US Person.
