About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and a passion for precision machining. As a Lathe Operator at Microtech Knives, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components used in our premium knives.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate CNC lathes to produce components to specified tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings.
- Perform set-ups and adjustments to machines as needed.
- Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure high standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
What You’ll Need to Win
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting machining blueprints.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and methods.
- Ability to work efficiently on 2nd shift hours.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
