Large nephrology practice seeks experienced certified coder for a
Primary Responsibilities
· Mail or key-in paper claims
· Document and scan correspondence
· Document faxes
· Follow up on missing items such as EOBs
· Work through return mail queue
· Scan batches
· Answer and route calls
· Ability to present issues and recommendations to management
· Adhere to company policies and procedures
· Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical office
· Working knowledge of insurance healthcare concepts
· Nephrology experience preferred but not required
· Strong computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word
· Detail-oriented, problem-solving skills
· Must be a team player
This is a Full-time, in office position only.
