About this Job:
We are actively looking for a motivated and professional Regional Account Executive who will be able to help extend our client services and obtain more clients. If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the challenge of working independently as a “hunter,” then this is the perfect opportunity for you. While prior experience in the laboratory is preferred, we will consider an individual who has current relationships with clinicians in gastroenterology, urology, dermatology, podiatry, endocrinology, otolaryngology, interventional radiologists, general surgeons, breast surgeons, plastic surgery, treatment facilities, surgery centers, and hospitals. This “hands-on” position will focus on prospecting and developing new accounts.
You will spend the majority of your time outside in the field, calling on 15 - 20 prospective clients per day. You will build and maintain strong relationships with your customers. In doing so, you will analyze the needs of your clients and deliver high-quality, cost-effective laboratory services. You will maintain a high level of integrity in accordance with company culture. You will receive mentorship and training from the very best Sales Leadership. Moreover, we have a commitment to ongoing training.
Prospects and networks with new clients through a variety of methods, including cold calling.
Strictly adheres to all HIPAA compliance
Able to work independently, while communicating with sales leadership as required
Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with current accounts
Guide and control all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to long-term customer relationship
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- A college degree is strongly preferred in sales or business-related
- 5 ( 7) years of medical sales experience, preferably laboratory
- Existing relationship with the healthcare providers in this area
- A huge plus for experience in laboratory testing sales
- Self-motivated, well organized, and results-driven;
- Have a solid background in medical sales, marketing, and account development (5 years); meeting or exceeding growth targets. Previous laboratory sales experience is preferred.
- Creating and implementing successful business strategies that drive market and sales growth;
