What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Dispatcher position at Mid-States Packaging, Inc.?
Manage day to day activities including:
- Scheduling and assigning drivers
- Review next day deliveries and pick – ups
- Enter all assignments into database
- Notify drivers of assignments
- Ensure paperwork is correct and turned in
- Communicate with customers on delivery and scheduling
- Works with shop for maintenance on trucks and trailers
Required:
2-4 years’ experience with dispatching
Ability to multi task
Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
Communicate clearly
Valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
