Qualifications
- AutoCAD Experience
- 3D Modeling in Solidworks, Tekla, and/or Revit (Preferred)
- Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and ownership of tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
The Position
The Project Detailer / Drafter is responsible for creating piece drawings for precast concrete flooring, beams, columns, and walls in Revit. They are able to see their drawings come to life through the manufacturing and construction process and can drive through town to see the structures they help build! The Project Detailer / Drafter will also be responsible for:
- Completing accurate production drawings in Revit
- Providing on-time release of component drawings to Production
- Preparing Material Lists for production hardware
- Collaborating with project team for successful completion of assignments
- Working closely with production, purchasing, and installation teams to resolve project issues
- Coordinating accurate estimated completion dates with Project Team
- Proactively working with the Director of Engineering and Design to create tools to increase productivity
The Person
We are looking for someone who is excited to learn about the precast industry through training, feedback, and hands-on experience. They demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills and are always looking for ways to innovate and improve products and processes. They are comfortable communicating their ideas and collaborating with teammates.
