What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maternity RN position at Midas Consulting?
Duties:
- Provide specialized care for mothers during the maternity period
- Assist with medical imaging and sonography procedures as needed
- Manage airways and perform gastric lavage when necessary
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Provide support and education to new mothers on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery
- Assist with esthetic laser treatments for postpartum skin rejuvenation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement discharge plans for mothers and newborns
- Operate neonatal ventilators and provide respiratory support to premature or ill infants
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn care practices
- Proficient in medical imaging and sonography techniques
- Ability to manage airways and perform gastric lavage procedures
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments for postpartum skin rejuvenation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide education and support to new mothers
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience operating neonatal ventilators and providing respiratory support to infants
