What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Services Coordinator position at Middle Georgia Community Action Agency?
This is a highly responsible professional position performed under the general supervision of the Director of Program Operations. Incumbent is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all programs conducted under the Community Services Program. Responsible for coordinating programs and activities with other public and private agencies, as well as other programs operated by the agency. Maintain the information system which can be utilized in agency planning and reporting.
______________________________________________________________________Key Responsibilities
* Implement all programs operated by the agency which falls under the Community Services Program.
* Monitor all programs operated under Community Services Program at specific intervals to comply with contract compliance.
* Must have automobile.
* Monitors all employees assigned to those programs who are directly employed by the agency. Enforces personnel policies and procedures, evaluates staff performance and recommend personnel action as needed.
* Maintains effective communication with the administrative staff through activity reports, staff conferences, correspondence, and other reports as required. Request technical assistance as required. Prepare reports and other such documents as may be required by superior; conducts county wide surveys, maintains records, recommends changes in program directions, and assist with grant writing as needed.
* Maintain program budget and monitor spending to ensure funds are utilized effectively and expended within contract period.
* Ability to travel and overnight stay when required.
* Participate in all required trainings and meet requirements including a satisfactory test score.
* These duties are not all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other related duties as assigned by the department head, supervisor, or other member of management.

* Must be a US citizen; have a Permanent Resident Card, or an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
* Must have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS)
* Must have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or for any crime against children.
* Two years of undergraduate work in sociology, business administration, or other related field.
* Three years of administrative and supervisory experience in a public or private agency working with low-income population.
