What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor - Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus position at Middletown Hotel Management?
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus is looking for a Night Auditor to join our team.
The Auditor is responsible for maintaining hotel operations overnight and assisting with any guest needs and concerns.
The ideal applicant should be capable of working independently without assistance with basic hotel functions, such as checking guests in and out, reconciling accounts, communicating with housekeeping, and taking initiative for necessary tasks. A flexible schedule and a willingness to work with multiple departments are imperative.
Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities:
- Greet Guests, Complete Check-Ins and Check-Outs, provide guests with any hotel information that they may need during their stay.
- Respond to Guest Inquiries, Concerns, Needs, Complaints.
- Ensure that all exterior hotel entrances are properly secured.
- Complete the hotel audit process, and balance end-of-day reports from day shifts.
- Verify and Confirm that all guests have checked into the hotel and process Reservation No-Shows.
- Answer phones and make, cancel, and modify guest reservations.
- Balance cash drawers and perform safe drops.
- Stock and organize desk supplies and hotel marketplace in accordance with FIFO.
- Setup hardware and prepare food items for hotel breakfast program
- Setup and clean meeting and event space as needed per reservation.
- Maintain coffee bar and refresh as needed.
- Clean and maintain public lobby areas to ensure property standards
- Compose detailed emails regarding guest issues, requests, and hotel operations.
- *Must adhere to all COVID-19 regulations, policies, and rules.
