Duties:

Enforces parking violations

Patrols assigned area during a specific period on a bicycle.

Perform radio communication.

Directs traffic.

Assists with parades and other public gatherings.

Provides general information to the public.

Assists motorist in need of assistance.

Prepares necessary reports.

Requirements: (all requirements must be met)

  • Must be a minimum age of 18.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree with a minimum of 12-15 credits completed at time of application and must be intending to pursue a career in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or Homeland Security.
  • Must complete pre-employment testing and requirements; including a physical, drug test, and psychological exam in accordance with the hiring process.
  • Must attend departmental training for Seasonal Public Safety Aides.

Salary: $18.00 /hour
