Production Manager

Day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Monday – Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

We are looking for an experienced manager to help lead our team to success.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for quality assurance in the shipping and lites (windows) departments. Always looking to elevate the quality level of these departments, implements procedures designed to eliminate potential mistakes, working towards the ultimate goal of zero issues.
• Strong understanding of all processes and procedures for areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the shipping and lites departments. Develops programs to monitor productivity, identifies areas requiring improvements and implements procedures designed to increase efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain healthy inventory levels, ensuring no backorders and also, that inventory levels are not kept in overabundance of expected workloads. Makes certain that products are rotated on a regular basis.
• Maintain safe working environment for areas of responsibility.
• Ensures proper and accurate communication between departments and Office/Sales.
• Maintains frequent interactions with departments and branches.

Education and Experience: 

High school diploma, college degree and/or 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
