Summary : The primary function of this position is to develop an innovative training and onboarding program to benefit the Company’s retention and employee engagement.

Essential Duties Collaborate with management and staff to identify specific skills / knowledge gaps, training objectives, and work situations.

Work with subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain course content and materials, including but not limited to, presentations, videos, interactive activities, procedure manuals, guides, and assessments.

Ensure all training content aligns with Midland’s goals, values, and policies while incorporating industry best practices and innovative learning techniques.

Collaborate with management, subject matter experts, and HR to identify additional training needs required for new hires.

Facilitate training and development programs using various formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos for all branches either in-person or via Teams (if needed).

Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.

Maintain current knowledge of organizational and industrial trends and make appropriate recommendations for new or updated training courses.

Develop a learning program for the Company that is branded Midland University’. Own and manage the day-to-day facilitation and administration of Midland University.

Monitor the effectiveness of Midland University’ by requesting frequent feedback and modify as needed to enhance and improve Midland’s standards.

Have prompt and reliable attendance. Competencies Required : Contributes to a culture of cooperation and teamwork within and between all departments companywide provides assistance as needed with a can-do attitude.

A skilled communicator. Listens first and speaks second. Thinks about the message they deliver before they say / send it and how the message could be interpreted.

Maintains a clean and organized workspace. Does not leave confidential information out for others to see. Ability to work closely with senior management.

Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines. Takes pride in work and has a strong attention to detail.

Represents the company with a professional appearance and professional behavior at all times. Creative design eye and skill.

Excellent analytical and presentation skills. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in a Training & Development position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
