Midland Trust is seeking a top-notch Marketing Associate for our growing Fort Myers office. This is a great opportunity to learn at the company headquarters. Midland's primary services include Self-Directed IRAs (retirement accounts/alternative investments) and 1031 Exchanges and it is one of the nation's most unique financial niche companies. Midland has a great team with a great company culture and we are looking for the right person to join our marketing team.
Midland is an established company that is located in Fort Myers, Sioux Falls, and Chicago but solicits business nationwide. This position is in Fort Myers with minimal travel (5%) occurring mostly in the tri-county area of Southeast Florida. The office is business casual with a great opportunity to have a lot of fun.
In the initial 3-6 months, this individual will train in all areas of our business to get a full understanding of how our business works and the specifics of the services we offer. After this initial period, this person will transition into the marketing role.
Typical Job Duties:
- Work with the Marketing Team to plan and execute a focused marketing strategy
- Protect and promote the company brand
- Organize Marketing Opportunities / Collateral
- Attend industry trade shows, seminars, conferences and networking events (some nights/weekends)
- Work closely with the entire sales and marketing team
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1-2 years of Marketing experience, preferably in a relationship-building sales environment
- Experience and understanding of website management and SEO
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be pleasant, personable, and dependable
- Must be extremely organized with an incredible eye for detail
- Must have basic computer skills (experience with G-Suite is a plus)
- Must maintain a HIGH level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Creative, positive, and outgoing personality
- Experience with email marketing
- Experience in graphic design preferred
