Job Title: Accounting Office Assistant
We are seeking an Accounting Office Assistant to join our team and provide support in various accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with vehicle title processing, including verifying information and preparing necessary documents
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Prepare and process invoices and purchase orders
- Assist with payroll processing and employee time tracking
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and copying
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
