Midway University seeks a Clinical and Nursing Skills Lab Coordinator to begin in January 2024. The 12-month faculty position coordinates all clinical and nursing skills lab experiences in the ADN and Prelicensure BSN programs. Duties include but are not limited to the following: recruit and interview clinical adjunct instructors, coordinate clinical placements, monitor Castle Branch and KBN requirements, conduct site visits, instruct prelicensure nursing students in the skills lab during the day and evening hours, and work collaboratively with the full-time skills lab instructor. Additional opportunities may include teaching prelicensure nursing students in the classroom.

Duties include clinical and skills lab coordination, skills lab instruction, advising students, and serving on university committees.
Qualifications
Required qualifications: Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution. Successful candidates must hold an active, unencumbered Kentucky or Compact State license. A minimum of five years of clinical practice experience required; preference will be given for college teaching experience.
