MidwayUSA has a need for an Accountant who will be responsible for full cycle financial reporting for entities including general ledger systems and reporting in highly automated environment; payables, receivables, payroll, cash management, capital asset detail systems and reporting; journal entry compilation, general ledger account reconciliation and analysis; auditing; and reporting for ISO, audit, various taxes, insurance and banking.
In This Role, You Will
- Work in our Financial Reporting Management Process: Compile and analyze financial information creating journal entries in all financial areas; compile financial reports for management review; compile various reconciliations and/or account analyses for financial, audit, tax, etc.
- Assist with Accounts Payable Management: Investigate and reconcile Receipt Variances with Suppliers; Conduct Supplier invoice cycle count transaction audit process; Process Non-Inventory payables; Track and trend root cause of discrepancies; Maintain current Supplier/Partner information in financial reporting system
- Conduct Payroll Review and Processes: Examine hours and time off requests for accuracy, timeliness, etc.; Review and maintain employee files in 3rd party system according to Company and Employee policies, government regulations, etc.; Review bi-weekly payroll reports and exceptions
- Work with Loss Prevention Processes as assigned
- Work with Cash Management Processes as assigned
- You have a B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business
- You have 1-3 years experience in highly automated accounting functions
- You have a demonstrated proficiency in attention to detail
- Annual Salary Range (commensurate with experience): $ 57,000-73,000 with annual benchmarking and pay increases to always ensure a competitive salary
