What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Midwest Co-Pack?
Midwest Co-Pack is a family-owned company located in Winona, MN. We manufacture sweet gummy candies on state-of-the-art machinery and are growing quickly! This will be a newly created position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interface with customers to solve problems and assist with project needs
- Build and manage commercialization timelines for new product launches or continuous improvement projects
- Maintain customer volume forecasts, and translate into raw material forecasts to provide vendors
- Interface with vendors, including new vendor setup, negotiation of pricing/terms, resolve quantity/price/quality disputes on invoices, etc.
- Manage CAPEX project plans and work cross-functionally to define timelines
- Work with outsourced IT vendors to resolve any technology issues
- Other projects as assigned
Skills / Required Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Organized
- Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
- Experience working with an ERP system a plus
- Adept at manage project timelines
- Comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems
- Self-starter
- Experience managing at least 1 direct report
- A college degree of 4 or more years, or equivalent experience, is required
