At Midwest Connect, our Route Drivers play an integral part in our mailing services by visiting customers daily to pick up and deliver their mail. Other responsibilities may include the sorting and processing of mail after the routes have been completed. Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 12:15-3 pm, Friday from 12:15-5 pm
Responsibilities:
Traveling a directed route to deliver and/or collect mail from customers
Operating a company vehicle in a safe manner
Collecting, sorting, and processing customer mail
Receiving, sorting, and processing customer packages for shipping, including packing, lifting, weighting, and labeling
Operating general office equipment, including but not limited to: copiers, printers, address printers, tabbing machines, document folders, document inserting, and postage meters
Maintaining customer relations by providing a positive experience and information on products and services offered by Midwest Connect
Working closely with the team to complete any and all tasks involved in mailing and sorting
Ideal Qualifications:
Customer service experience is preferred
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Must be team-oriented
Ability to use analytical skills for problem-solving and taking initiative
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Adhere to the company dress code (e.g. company apparel, professional appearance)
