Driver

Job Summary
Midwest Construction Company is hiring a full time local truck driver. CDL is not required. Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering material to job sites, loading and unloading material and job site cleanup. Hours are 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday and possible Saturdays. Most job sites are within the I 275 loop. Must be drug free and have a clean driving record, must be able to lift 75 pounds. Fork lift experience is a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, box trucks, and forklifts
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload material
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Experience with route driving
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
