Description : Weare seeking a detailoriented typist to join our company. As atypist you will be required to type up company documents fromwritten media and audio recordings record meeting minutes and notesand check all written documents for errors.

You will also berequired to draft documents and perform a variety of clericalduties.

To be a successful typist you should havea keen eye for detail and possess fast typing abilities. Ultimatelya topnotch typist should be able to spot grammatical errors quicklyand have experience with a variety of documents and word processingsoftware.

Responsibilities :

  • Typingup company documents from dictation audio recordings writtendocuments and other media.
  • Recording meetingminutes and notes.
  • Drafting documents reportsspreadsheets presentations and other writtenmaterial.
  • Reformatting converting and mergingdocuments to conform to companyspecifications.
  • Proofreading completed work andcorrecting spelling punctuation and grammaticalerrors.
  • Managing and maintaining the physicaland digital document filing system.
  • Performinggeneral office duties such as copying scanning printing andanswering phone calls and emails amongothers.
  • Ensuring that the office supplies aremaintained and informing the supervisor of any issues orrequirements.
