Job Duties

  • Reading project specifications and selecting appropriate products
  • Do estimating take-offs from construction plans/drawings
  • Use web-based software programs for pricing
  • Working closely with vendors for pricing
  • Schedule and manage a bid log calendar
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience reading architectural and construction drawings
  • Experience reading project specifications and guidelines
  • Strong math skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Embraces teamwork but able to work autonomously
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be self-motivated
