Controller

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will oversee all financial activities, including financial reporting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Payroll, and Revenue Recognition
- Record periodic journal entries, complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Review and approve payroll
- Prepare cash forecast and daily reporting dashboard
- Prepare monthly sales commissions and analysis reports
- Coordinate with external accountants for annual review services and assist with tax audits and returns
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (vlookups and pivot tables) and accounting software programs
- Experience with Infor Syteline accounting software is a plus
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
