Collections Specialist

**Collection Agent** **Duties:** - Contact customers to collect outstanding payments - Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers - Maintain accurate records of all collections activities - Follow up on delinquent accounts and initiate appropriate actions - Provide excellent customer service while assisting customers with their payment inquiries - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and disputes - Prepare and send collection letters or notices as needed **Skills:** - Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and reconciliations - Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers - Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures - Familiarity with debits, credits, and account reconciliation - Understanding of financial concepts related to collections and payments - Proficiency in coding and classifying accounts for proper tracking - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding (if applicable) - Knowledge of accounts payable processes (if applicable) We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong mathematical skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
