What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Midwest Glass?
Midwest Glass has been a mainstay of the Brookings community since 1974 and has been fortunate to serve as a trusted partner for the residential, commercial, and automotive glass needs of customers across the region.
Midwest Glass is currently looking to hire a Customer Service Rep (CSR). Working primarily in the office, this position will serve as a first point of contact for both phone and walk-in customer traffic. Interacting with all areas of the business, the CSR is primarily responsible for initiating customer’s requests for service and handling Inhouse and Auto glass point of sale transactions. Additionally, the right candidate will assist with sales and marketing efforts, social media posting, and assist the business manager with office support tasks like filing and invoicing.
The ideal candidate will be good at working with people, organized, and have a familiarity with technology and computers. Additionally, a candidate who is quick to learn, willing to work hard, and fun to work with will be a good fit for this role. Familiarity with quickbooks, bookkeeping, and AP/AR is a plus.
